Our school mission ‘To Live in Love’ is at the heart of everything we do and our relationships, expectations, standards, and practices are based on these words from our special saint – St. Thérèse of Lisieux.
As a Catholic school, our aim is to provide a context of Catholic education in which children develop a personal relationship with Jesus and their lives are enriched with Gospel Values. Our school mission states that in order to ‘Live in Love’ we are called to “Love God, To Love Each Other, and to Love Ourselves.”
We are very proud of our school and our children are an absolute joy. As our mission states “we enjoy relationships that are rooted in love, trust, and mutual respect” as a foundation for successful learning. St. Thérèse of Lisieux is a happy, welcoming place to be: all members of the school community work closely together; the positive support of our parents and the wider community is extremely important and we are very grateful for their contribution. We seek to work in partnership at every opportunity as we all want the very best for our children.
Our enthusiastic, hardworking staff team love what they do and support our pupils in all aspects of their development. They contribute to a curriculum that is inspiring, engaging and challenging for all. Our children know there are no limits to their learning and they are met with high expectations and learning opportunities that are ‘impossible to resist’. Our aim is for our pupils to know that when they embrace new opportunities and develop a strong sense of belief and confidence, anything is possible and as a result they can celebrate great success and pride in all they do.
Equally important as nurturing our children’s unique God-given gifts and talents is providing opportunities for them positively contribute to the society in which they live. We instill in our pupils a belief that they can make a difference to our world and aim to provide them with the skills, knowledge and belief to do so now and in the future.
This website is an important link in the way we communicate all that we do here at St. Thérèse. It provides us with a wonderful opportunity to share and celebrate the life and work of our pupils.
